We can use tea as a window to explore philosophical, material, and social culture. In a cup or bowl of tea, we see the values of the society which developed it: we see the details of architecture in the method of heating the kettle, the preferences for clean, straight lines, or organic irregularity in the choice of ceramics, the values placed on individual reflection or social gathering in the brewing method. Tea engages us and widens our perspectives at the same time.

We offer a variety of teas, including whites, greens, oolongs, reds (blacks), and pu’ers, as well as various tea blends and herbal infusions. Each tea is served in traditional style– some in gong fu style, some in bowls, some in mugs, and even some in dainty English bone china sets. Here you can explore each tea for its taste, for its history, or for its novelty.
