Sunpod Sauna Launch Event! (Location moved due to icy conditions)

The Philosopher’s House is staying closed today. Here is a message from Sunpod Sauna about the event today:

The Philosopher’s House is closing for the day, but we think this snow is perfect for a sauna opening! 

For anyone who can safely get here: We’ll be moving today’s event to a private residence a couple blocks away from Philosopher’s. 

If you’d like to reschedule your sesh or request a refund try the link on your booking email. If that doesn’t work please contact me and I’ll be happy to help.

The new location is 201 East Holston Ave. Easier parking can be found at North Side Elementary.

There will be access to a changing area / bathroom but sadly none of the wonderful teas that would complement the sauna!

We’re so excited to open with our first Community Sesh! Come in from the cold and get HOT in the sauna!

We’ll be set up at the teahouse (tea break, anyone?) from 2pm-5:30pm on Sun, Feb 1st. Book a spot before they’re gone!

What is a Community Sesh?
It’s where we set up our mobile wood-stove sauna as a shared space for like-minded people (warmth lovers).

Location: Outdoor/courtyard

Cost: 30.00 for 1.5 hours

What to bring: Bring your own refillable water bottle (filtered water available inside), a bathing suit and robe, slip-on shoes for moving between indoor/outdoor space.

NOTE: If you’d like the sauna all to yourself, we are happy to bring it to you for rental!
