This Japanese Culture Table is part of JOI programming: the Japan Outreach Initiative. This program aims to promote learning about Japan and develop grassroots exchange between the US and Japan by conducting community outreach and cultural activities.  This program is administered by the Japan Foundation Center of Global partnership and a US non-profit organization, Laurasian Institution.
