Author reading/signing with Edgar Ongtengco
Edgar Alan O. presents his sixth book, his third poem book of the series, FIFTY NIFTIEST POEMS. A physician, a pianist, a violinist, a writer, his inspirations come from his Christian faith, Grace Fellowship Church in Johnson City, Tennessee, and from his beloved par-ents, Armando and Nora.
His first book, KARMA, is a collaboration with his late mother, based on a true story. After she passed away, he felt a deep loss and wrote THE EIGHTH DAY, a story about end-times, a hybrid of science fiction/religious overlays after God rested on the proverbial seventh day. Then came his first poem book, FIFTY NIFTY POEMS, and later, a second—FIFTY NIFTIER POEMS—a collection of fifty more lighthearted and serious reflections about the up-and-down topics of life.
His other book, MY LAST BLIP IN TIME, entertains the reader to look introspectively at faith, purpose, and the future in a life of a Doubting Thomas.

Dr. O is an accomplished musician with four professionally made classical/popular music CDs. His music lessons started in the Philippines at the young age of five. He has soloed in orchestras, recitals, charities, concert halls, including the Steinway Piano Gallery of Detroit, the Wynne Hotel in Las Vegas, the University of Tennessee, and the Vatican City of Rome. Among the items in his bucket list is performing as a pianist at Carnegie Hall in New York City and completing the sequel, THE NINTH DAY, what happens after THE EIGHTH DAY some five billion years into the future after Judgment Day.
