SUMMARY:Live Music: Jackero (Old Time/Folk)
DESCRIPTION:Jackero is an old-time and folk project composed of sisters Ellie and Annie Davis. Growing up in Olympia\, Washington\, the sisters began fiddle lessons at the age of four and have been playing\, singing\, and performing together ever since. While rooted in the Appalachian old-time music tradition\, the duo explores the intersection of traditional music and original songwriting\, blending a reverence for the past with a contemporary\, song-driven approach through a combination of fiddle\, banjo\, guitar\, and close vocal harmonies. Now based in Upper East Tennessee\, Annie and Ellie have both studied old-time music academically at East Tennessee State University. Their performances reflect a lifelong musical bond\, blending the roots of Appalachian tradition with fresh\, contemporary influences to create a sound that feels both timeless and distinctly their own. \n\nCost: Food/drink purchases encouraged to support teahouse nonprofit\n\n\nLocation: Living room/Fireplace\, 1st floor
